God's Prayer Power ~ Session 23




Scripture Today: Jeremiah 17:7

"Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is" (KJV)

What is God saying?


We are Blessed. 

That we are blessed if we trust in the Lord. Blessed is a wonderful word. One of the meanings is happy. Not as the world says happy, but happy in Christ. Joyful. Peaceful. Blissful. Content. You see, regardless of what goes on around us, if we are trusting in God, then we know we don't have to be moved by those things. Why? Because we have put our total trust in Him.

Trust in Him.

A firm belief in the Lord, in His strength. Having confidence in Him to do what He says.


Hope in Him

Our hope is in Him. Not in the world. Not in man. But in our wonderful Lord. Hope is
expectation and desire for a certain thing to happen.

Prayer

My trust is in You, Lord. That is why I can surrender our children and the children

in our world into Your hands.  I know You are working in their situations  and in their lives and their hearts. I trust You to provide and protect  them in all circumstances and to work things out in their lives for Your glory and their good. I trust You will  restore a right relationship with You. I know You are working in their lives. To bring about Your perfect will  in each one of them spiritually, physically,  financially, mentally and emotionally. My hope is in You Lord.  Amen
